Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Text Formatting

        Texts should be submitted in .doc or .rtf format, and edited using the Times New Roman font, 12 point font size (10 point font size for footnotes).

Abstract

        All papers must include an abstract in English.

Key Words

        5-10 key words should be provided in English, after the abstract.

Languages

        Romanian, English, French and Spanish

Title Page

        Texts should be prepared for blind reviewing. Authors should write their name, position, affiliation, and contact information (including e-mail address) on a separate page.

Citations and List of References

        References should follow the author-date system of the Chicago Manual of Style, the 16th edition (see the Quick Guide).

        The citations should be made in the text, in parenthesis, as follows: author’s last name, year of publication, page number. They must correspond exactly with the list of references: the sources that appear in one place must appear in the other.

        Footnotes should be used only to provide further information about a particular idea.

Acknowledgments

        Acknowledgments for grants, funds, etc. should be placed on the first page of the article as a footnote.
