Résumé

On September 15, 2008, when Lehman Brothers Bank announced its bankruptcy, the global economic crisis officially emerged. In this paper we discuss the immediate consequences of the economic crisis on the cultural consumption in Romania, at the end of 2008 and first half of 2009. With this regard, we have used the Cultural Consumption Barometer for 2008 and 2009.
