THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DRIVING STYLE, EMOTIONAL REGULATION, AND FORGIVENESS, IN CASE OF INDIVIDUALS WHO COMMITTED TRAFFIC OFFENSES

L′objectiv de l′étude était d′examiner la relation entre le style de conduite, les difficultés de régulation émotionnelle et le pardon, dans le cas de personnes condamnées pour des infractions routières.
Méthodologie: Les données ont été collectés auprès de 60 personnes enregistrees aupres du Service de Probation de Suceava ( 20 à 66 ans), étant en période d´éxecution de la peine à différents moments.
Résultates: Les personnes condamnées pour des infracations routières qui ont difficultés de contrôle des impulsions adoptent un style de conduite irrationnel et le style de conduite dissociatif est le plus corrélé aux difficultés de régulation émotionnelle. La pratique du pardon situationnel est corrélée à un style de conduit patient-attentif et la spécificité du style de conduite adopté diffère en fonction de la période de surveillance durant laquelle la personne condamnée se trouve. Les difficultés de conscience émotionnelle et le style de conduite en colère sont négativement corrélés à l′âge et les personnes est non mariées ont tendance à avoir un style de conduite en colère et irrationnel.
Conclusions: Dans le cas des personnes condamnées pour des infractions routières, les interventions du conseiller en probation devraient viser à encourager la practique du pardon situationnel, comme stratégie de régulation émotionnelle qui favorise un style de conduite patient et attentif, tout en soutenant les jeunes et les personnes non mariées, les catégories les plus vulnérables en matière d´adoption d´un style de conduite colérique et irrationnel.
