Résumé

This study aims to gain a better understanding of resource allocation for the social and health care services. The research focused on the analysis of the personal and practical experiences of the providers and beneficiaries of social and health care services for elderly and disabled persons. We developed a qualitative methodology based on a semi-structured interview guide in order to find the views of important informants on integrative health and social care field and welfare, on service innovation and peer workers for elderly and disabled persons. We interviewed key informants from non-governmental organizations and representatives of the day care centers and residential centers run by local authorities and non-governmental organizations, different municipality bodies, and also users and beneficiaries of social and health services (N=15).
