Abstract

All European Union countries face today, in growing numbers, the situation of abandonment. These are situations that affect all ages, especially young children, adolescents and elderly. Those who work with these target groups are, in part, volunteers or employees without proper training, relying more on practice than on a real intuitive know-how. Their number is also insufficient. Training programs do not take sufficient account of specific situations of abandonment. To ensure that all persons are dealt with dignity, it is necessary to develop and / or strengthen (qualitative and quantitative), a helpful relationship with these different populations. This is the objective of the Relais Plus project, and the article argues in this regard.
