Abstract

This study is intended to be educational and is of particular interest to young researchers. It first aims to present and analyze the most relevant risk factors of intimate partner violence (IPV), then to highlight the most used models in the fight against IPV, and, finally, to discuss them. By incorporating partner-related risk factors into standard screening procedures, we can potentially detect a higher number of women experiencing abuse, as well as those at greater risk of experiencing abuse or physical harm in the future.
