Outline
The current issue addresses both the current challenges and perspectives of social work in a cross-border context, as well as the historical, national developments of the field of social work, considering the impact of globalization and cultural diversity.
We welcome studies on cross-border cooperation in the provision of social services; ethical and legal aspects in social assistance; national social assistance systems; migration and social assistance; cross-border social assistance policies and strategies; the impact of globalization on social assistance; the effects of cultural diversity on the provision of social services; innovation and technology in cross-border social care and any other related topics.
Scientific Annals of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi (New Series) Sociology and Social Work Section welcomes original, interdisciplinary research, theoretical and empirical papers, based on either qualitative, quantitative or mixed methodology that reflect the current ideas and practices in the social paradigms / ideology and intercultural communication areas.
All submissions will undergo a peer-group review process.
Scientific Annals of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi (New Series) Sociology and Social Work Section aims to promote the remarkable results of scientific and empiric researches of professorates, researchers, students, and practitioners in the field of humanist sciences in order to stimulate the optimal functioning of academic and social fields. Analyses and theoretical-methodological sociological explanations as well as the exemplification of their values at the political and social work strategies and interventions level are welcome.
