The year 2022, designated as The European Year of Youth, shows concern about the effects of the crisis period on young people. The limits and restrictions of this period led to a series of changes in population mentalities and behaviours, but also a series of fundamental questions and analyzes for the entire scientific community.

The risks and effects of armed conflict, physical distancing, social distancing, isolation and solidarity are factors that have decisively changed both social, interpersonal and professional relationships. The excess of digitalization and the transfer of life in the virtual environment have completed the image of a new generation that comes with the need for change translated into real perspective challenges. These refer to mentalities, culture, values, education, rights, politics, profession and career, personal development, socialization, assistance and intervention.

We invite interested colleagues and practitioners to submit specialized articles, based on their current, retrospective and future analyses, whereby to identify the main characteristics and trends of concern about the effects of the pandemic on young generations.

Empirical research, theoretical papers that investigate different perspectives and any researches with multiple levels of analysis focused on perspective challenges of the young generations are welcome.

The deadline for submission of articles is 10th of October 2022.

Publication language: English (with abstracts in Romanian, French and English).

We encourage authors who are ready to share their views and findings to submit their papers to: an-soc-as@uaic.ro, nina.mihalache@uaic.ro, sorina.corman@ulbsibiu.ro and camelia.medeleanu@uaic.ro.
